Our Family Tree

Some great places to start are:

1. Pedigree Chart - this will show you a visual tree showing direct ansestors for the selected individual. Each person listed is clickable for a detailed view.
2. Entire Tree Chart - display a large chart of all members in the tree regardless of their relationship - the people listed are clickable for more details. Adjust the number of ancestors and descendants on the left hand filter bar to alter how many generations are displayed. The chart can be downloaded as an image file as well for reference.
3. Relationships Chart - a quick way to see how two people are related to each other. Gives a descriptive name like "first cousin once removed descending" as well as a relationship chart with all the relative people that make up the connection.
4. Search Bar - the search bar is at the top of every page. Search for parts of a name, or other event-related words get a list of matches. For example, searching for "Saskatoon" will display all people that have that word in their individual profiles.

Try out the various different charts, reports, and pages and find which ones work best for you. There are many ways to get the same destination!

Visit the "Request a new user account" page. New accounts will be approved for confirmed family members in the tree.

4. Set the default person in your chart views
5. Ability to communicate and collaborate with the other people who also have an account
6. Get email notifications about important site changes and maintenance

User accounts are only approved for confimed members of the family tree. This protects the privacy of living individuals.

Watermarks are automatically added to images when the site is viewed by the public. Watermarks are removed when you are logged in with a registered account.

Family members who are not marked as deceased, will show as "Private" to the public. If you register an account and it's approved, you will be able to see these living members of the family tree.
